Visiting the website

The website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and uses no analytics or marketing services. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser's details. We need them to deliver the page and protect it against abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are deleted after 14 days.

Transport enquiries through the form

The form sends us your company, contact person, email address, a phone number if you give one, pickup, destination, requested date, a description of the load and the language of the page. We use these details to assess your enquiry, reply to you and, where appropriate, make an offer.

The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We need the required fields to reply; without them we cannot handle the enquiry. No automated decision-making takes place.

If the enquiry leads to an order, we transfer the details needed to carry it out into our order records and keep them for the periods the law requires.

How long we keep your data

We delete accepted and declined enquiries 12 months after our decision, and abusive ones (spam) after 30 days. An enquiry we have not yet decided on is kept until we do. Deleted data remains in our backups for up to 14 more days.

Recipients

The website and the database are run for us by symonix, as our processor, on servers in the European Union. We do not pass your details to third parties and do not sell them.

We send our replies with Gmail (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google may also process data in the United States; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

If you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Limited processes your message under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). An informal message to [email protected] is enough.
